Young Environment Learning Center has over twenty years of experience teaching and caring for young children. Our strengths include:
 
Low teacher turnover. 75% of YELC teachers have worked at YELC for 15 years or more.

​Small class sizes. We keep our enrollment lower so every teacher knows the children and families. 

STAR 4 ranking. We have been a STAR 4 center for 16 years. This is the Pennsylvania's highest rank for child care centers. Free lunches and snacks. We participate in the federal food program, CACFP. We provide breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack that meet federal nutritional guidelines. 

A secure facility. Our doors remained locked. Families use a key card to enter. Without the keycard the doors remained locked. No one enters unless teachers know them. 

Trained teachers. All staff are trained in infant/child First Aid and CPR and fire safety. We practice fire drills each month.
